Our friends Meri-Beth and Andy built a Bio-Hazard themed Halloween experience in their front yard this year. Andy and MB always do a phenomenal job on their Halloween projects. First it was the Space Ship, then Pumpkin Maze , last year’s Nightmare before Christmas, and presently the Bio-Hazard. This is a recent tradition that I’ve found myself looking forward to every year.
Here are pictures of the front of the 700 foot maze.

Christine, Audrey, Jimmy, and I went to the Mooseville Halloween extravaganza Saturday.
It was the best Halloween party we’ve been to in years. Everyone was great and the band that Zach and Philip play in, rocked it all night. The Snid Bits did great. I kept the pick Gene Simmons threw at Christine but veered of course and landed my way.
Mooseville is an interesting place. It’s a mock western town built on a few acres of Concordian greenery, near Irish Potato Road. It has a chapel, 3 bar saloon, hotel, hardware store (I think), a service station, collapsed mineshaft, what appeared to be a lookout tower (or just a treehouse), and more. Audrey and Jimmy were shocked at what we southerners can achieve when we throw reason to the wind.

If you are not a fan of Battlestar Galactica, or just don’t watch sci-fi then you probably missed the episode of BSG that all the sci-fi blogs are talking about.
If you never watch another second of BSG you should check out this clip.
To rescue the colonist on Cylon occupied New Caprica the Galactica FTL (faster than light) jumps into the atmosphere, falls like a rock, launces vipers and jumps into low orbit to fight four Basestars.
I’m trying to coin the phrase “Adama Maneuver”; this is great.

Once again, Rumor has it that NBC’s acquisition of ‘Battlestar Galactica’ is in the “waiting for the ink to dry” phase at this moment.
See story
NBC and SCI-FI have both denied this.
The producers and actors think it’s a terrible idea.
This is an old rumor that is getting a lot of new attention since iTunes has been informing season pass owners of the number of season three episodes has changed to be one episode short (since the first two episodes were combined to one two hour episode).
